As always Isadora Montrose writes a griping story that is hard to put down. I love the reaction when Kayla wakes up and is as she put it a scaly lizard. It is only possible for a virgin to be transformed into a dragoness. It never crossed Roland's mind that a woman in her twenty's having gone to collage and living with room mates who slept around that she could be untouched. I has not understanding of modern women, he thinks she should be happy to be a dragoness and a baroness with a ton of money. She runs away from him and finds a job elsewhere and a chance to rent a room with 2 guys who are deeply in love. When Roland finds her she doesn't believe him when he tells her she is pregnant and tells him she is having an affair with her too room mates. It just gets better after this but you will have to reed the story to find out the rest.Product details

Roland was arrogant, self centered, and self entitled. Kayla started off nice and innocent, but once she got mad at Roland she was so stubborn about changing her mind. He mostly deserved it but it is dragged out way long. Otherwise the storyline is interesting.
Ok i read the first book to this series and loved it that I couldn't wait to read the second book i wish I hadn't brought it. Loved the hero even though he did do things a little backwards but has tried to hard to make up for it with the heroine who by the way was ungrateful, selfish, and so damn annoying I wanted to just reach in the book and slap her. But they were both at fault for their actions and had the HEA they were both wanting with their son.
This is a story involving Roland, an arrogant dragon, who feels if he says something it is a done deal. Kayla is an independent woman who just wants to research creatures in the ocean. So when Roland comes along and says "mine", Kayla says no and then you have a pouting dragon. Some groveling is involved. The background story lines keep you going and waiting for more to happen. You will want to get the next book to keep up with the additional characters in the series. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves the dragon shifters.
The second book in the trilogy. Roland Voros meets the nerdy Kayla Cooper and
tries to woo her with gifts. After one night, Kayla leaves. Now four years later,
enemies seek out Kayla and her son Aiden to destroy them. Roland comes to them
and takes them to his home to keep them safe. Also he must show Kayla that she
and Aiden are precious to him. Will he keep them safe? This one has a meek woman
who becomes feisty as time goes on. Adults 18+ only for sensual scenes and this
was too short. With all the books in the trilogy, at the end it features some of the other
books by the author. Must read!
Billionaire Dragon Lord Roland Boris went to the college because he needs help because his fleet to improve with fishing. He meets curvy Kayla Cooper which is an assistant and he can't get out of his mind. He decides to have an affair but she doesn't just react like all the other women just falling at his feet to do everything he wants. He is suppose to marry a virgin and she will change into a dragonness to be able to have babies . They end up sleeping together and she leaves and he tells her that they are getting married and she says no and leaves. He gets some of his warriors to protect her and their son till the son almost get kidnapped and he takes them to his house. She finally finds out who her real parents was
Ok, this is another book about shifters, but this one is a little longer and has an interesting plot.
Kayla was finishing her doctoral thesis when she met a businessman who would donate money for university research.
Roland Volos was tall, handsome, very rich... and a dragon.
When he meets Kayla, Roland is delighted, but at first he invites her to be his mistress.
Kayla became possessed and didn't accept.
But after spending a night with him, her life had been transformed. Because of her condition, Kayla had become a dragoness, but she hated the idea and did everything to have nothing more to do with Roland.
A few years later, Kayla had become Roland's enemy target, and in the face of danger, she would have to accept his protection. And that could revive old wounds, or give Roland a chance to properly woo his mate...

So if you like a quick and easy romance, this may be a series for you. The books remind me of the old Harlequin romance books...but with more detailed sex scenes. Same hot instant love, same girl loves Hunk, then hates him, then loves him...you get the idea.
There are the same frequent proofreading errors as the first book. This one took place in a more interesting locale, but I didn't care for the characters as much. I really would prefer to love these books, as the whole idea of this Dragon Shifter World is appealing. But for me, they just lack in length and content. So--OK for a quick read but nothing that special.
