Mr. Hunter's thoughts to the details of the scenes and charaters puts you right next to them for better or worse.Great read. And if your reading this, Mr. Hunter. In this trilogy, Christopher Hunter has created a living, breathing and vibrant future world. Although the main story arc is a battle for survival so intense it really doesn't permit much in the way of character development, he has forged a detailed and plausible world for future novels to take place in.
I have a feeling this trilogy is simply a preface to novels to come - it sets the scene, it introduces the world in an absolutely believable way, and it hints at more adventures to follow.
This is what indie fiction is all about - I enjoyed every moment I've spent in Mr Hunter's company, and look forward to seeing what he does next.

Some of the best in post-apocalyptic there Is. An excellent series.
I really enjoyed this entire series, especially the first and third installments. Hunter creates a very believable North America of the near future, with plenty of political back-drop and explanations of his future world. The character development is very strong, but without diluting the action. Considering this is his first published work, you just cannot help but be VERY impressed with Christopher Hunter!
You need to have your work checked for grammatical errors before publishing. They occur frequently enough to jar the reader out of the continuity of your story. And I enjoyed the story enough to purchase volumes 2 and 3 after downloading the 1st for free. It would be worth revising and publishing a cleaner version. I would recommend the story as a good read, well-paced, and with interesting characters. But please, check your work!
Really enjoyed this trilogy. I found that the characters were likable and it really was a page turner for me!
