Personally, I think it's ridiculous I keep telling myself that the high-heel shoes with training wheels, the tricycle with the lawn mower blade , or the elevator with the stair-masters in it will get old soon but she's had it several months and keeps returning to the book. She loves it, actually, reads it over and over, while chuckling at the silly inventions. If you have an imaginative child with a sense of humor they shoud enjoy it too. I would recommend it for 8-11 year olds or adults in-touch with their inner child.

good as expected
My daughter wanted this. We had lots of good laughs over the ridiculous and dangerous inventions. She even wanted to submit some of her own to the publisher.
My 10 year old/5th grader saw this book when we were out shopping for Christmas presents and rushed to show it to me so, of course, I rushed home and ordered it. She laughed out loud as she read it to pass the afternoon on Christmas day. Of course, if your child (or you) is a literal person, he or she might not get the humor out of these "fake" products. (My husband, is one of those literal people -- he couldn't quite understand that these were not real products). Most kids (and I think even boys more than girls) would get a hoot out of this book.
This is great. I bought it for my 12-year-old nephew (who will love it), but my husband read it before I wrapped it up, and he thought it was exceedingly clever and funny.
